I bought this as a gift for the wife as she has refused to move back to DE shaving. She's been using my old Mach 3 for the past 15 years and wasn't going to budge. But she really loves this new, prettier, heavier handle. Happy wife, happy life.

A Well Built and Well Designed Razor

I am very pleased with this razor. The picture you see here really doesn't do it justice. In addition to the stylish design, it is manufactured with quality materials. It is heavier than I expected but not so much as to be a problem. Overall, it was a very good purchase.

Brilliant Way To Make Mach 3 Even Better!

A wonderful idea that makes my mach 3 simply a joy to use! The long handle and extra weight make the shaver easy to use and seems to make the blade head cut more efficiently. The polished finish and engine turned handle are pure quality. The spring clip looks strong and I can see this handle lasting for decades. Highly recommend to all!

When I shave, I do it in the comfort of my home where only my wife ever sees my razors. So it's really not necessary that they look good, they just need to be practical. That being said, this razor is beautiful!! Appears to be very well made, I haven't used it more than twice yet, so I may change my mind on the craftsmanship, but at least at first it is a really cool looking razor. It comes with a blade and fits the Gillette Mach 3 when you need a replacement, which is nice. Also, there is some weight to it, which makes shaving nicer.
