The handsome heavyweight handle is made from brass with electroplated brass finish and chrome accents.

The closed comb head is the same as the one on all of our Parker three piece models - each part disassembles after screwing off the head from the handle to change the blade or the closed/open comb plates.

Included in box: 69CR Razor with closed comb head assembled and open comb head plate wrapped individually at the bottom of the box.
Directions to change the blade and the head:
- Simply hold the head of the razor and unscrew the entire head from the handle.
- Separate the top cap from the base. Insert blade onto the top cap and select your base plate.
- Insert the base plate over the screw of the cap, making sure that the larger indented middle circle is on the handle side.
- Screw head back on the handle and enjoy a great shave.

Beautiful Razor
Like all Parker products, it is beautiful and flawlessly functional. It's nice to have the choice between whether to shave close comb for comfort, or open comb, when you need the closest shave you can get. This razor comes with 5 Parker brand blades, that are mediocre, get yourself some Feather Brand blades, and you'll get the closest shave you'd ever want, as close as my R-41!!!

It works Great
I have only shaved with it about 3 times but I used diferent blades with it and it works great. It's going to be my daily for a long time. I have also a Qshave adjustable and this thing beats it every time I stack them up.

Very Sturdy and Great Looking Razor
I just received this razor and tried it out immediately. I have to say that I was impressed with the fit and finish. I have tried both open and closed comb heads and both work do a superb job at giving a close comfortable shave. I love the gold finish and the handle length of this razor. I am surprised there are not many reviews on this model, it is definitely worth the price and does a fantastic job. I also have a Parker Variant and this razor shaves just as well. I recommend this razor to anyone.

Very Fine Razor
I surprised there are no reviews on this razor. I received this razor yesterday and used it for the first time with the closed comb head. The results were amazing with one pass, even though I do two passes no matter what razor i’m using. I used the Parker blades that came with the razor and the shave was close and comfortable. The handle was longer than expected which was a good thing for me as I prefer longer handles. I also have a Variant, and comparing the two razors the 69R handle is a little longer. The finish on this razor is top notch, I love the Brass. I am getting ready to give the open comb head a try and will update this review after I try it out. I highly recommend this razor, and it is going to be in my daily rotation for sure.
