*Back in Stock!* The Parker's NEW two-piece SoloEdge Single Edge safety razor is a precision tool that will serve you well for many years and is the perfect razor for new and experienced wet shavers looking for the blade angle of a cartridge razor with the benefits of a safety razor. It's time to ditch the plastic cartridge razors and give our all metal, plastic free Parker SoloEdge a try! The highly economical blade replacements are simply double edge blades snapped in half or we recommend our pre-cut double edge half blades for ease of loading since there is no blade curvature. These are very economical, plastic free and widely available. We suggest that you try out different blades to find your own personal preference for your shave choice.

What's more, once the blade is securely *loaded in the slots, it will automatically have the perfect exposure so there is no need for any adjustment. The angle is intuitive to shave with, as it is similar to a cartridge razor angle in its design.

SoloEdge Safety Razor Benefits: Excellent weight & balance with a sleek head design for tight spots, built in efficient shaving angle, less skin irritation, economical & widely available blade replacements, eco-friendly, plastic-free razor and replacement blades.

Razor Type: Two-Piece Single Edge Safety Razor

BLADE LOADING INSTRUCTIONS (see instructional video in the videos tab)

1. Twist the handle to unscrew the top cap of the razor. Please note that this is a two-piece razor, so the safety bar plate is an integral part of the handle.
2. After unscrewing the top cap, hold the razor straight (vertically) and *load the blade, ensuring that the two slots on each end of the safety bar plate hold the blade securely. The blade edges are sharp, so please handle with care.
3. Keep the razor straight and load the top cap again (twist the handle to screw the top cap back on). It is easiest to keep the blade secured by using one hand with a pinching grip to hold the top cap in place, while tightening the handle with your other hand. Once the handle stops rotating, check that the blade is secured, and the handle is tightened. Enjoy a close and comfortable shave!

*Note that there is now a 2.5 mm magnet built into the razor head that helps make blade loading even easier.

Need a travel case? The Parker LP3 leather safety razor case will protect your razor on the go.

If looking for a small stand, our 80 mm Curved Chrome Safety Razor Stand will hold this razor perfectly.

    A Must-Have

This razor is the one I would recommend to anyone looking to try a single edge for the first time. Its ease of use, great price point and smooth shave make this a no-brainer. At 99 grams, it has the perfect amount of heft to allow the razor to do most of the work and Parker even throws in 100 blades. Love the knurling too! Get this razor!

    Great daily razor

Posted by Brian on Feb 23rd 2024

Love the SOLOEDGE razor as a daily shaver. Wieght is great, lets the razor do most of the work. As a 2 piece razor Very easy to load, unload, and clean. The Parker blades do a good job , but I will try other blades for my skin/wisker combo. I get a BBS shave with 2 passes normally.

    Great shaver

Posted by Eugene Wohlfarth (The Deacon Shaves) on Feb 22nd 2024

Nice razor with a good weight feel. The angles are built in to the head which makes it easy to get a good shave. There is not alot of blade feel and on the aggression scale (for me) it would be a 4 out of 10. Not aggressive but very efficient. a definite recommendation from The Deacon !! Bang average

Posted by Johnathan Starling on Feb 17th 2024

Got my Solo Edge Friday. First thought out of the box was felt good in the hand and once I got the blade in and tightened I wasn't concerned the handle would loosen the top cap. I loaded it with one of the Parker half blades from the 100 pack that comes with the razor for this shave. With my PAA ice cube pre shave, old spice mug shave soap (surprise with the mug), my PAA phantom aerolite brush, whipped up a good lather in my fine bowl. Work stress may have helped with that lather build. As for the shave itself, the Solo Edge and Parker blade gave me, on my every other day cycle, an average shave. I have to accept the Parker blades are not for me (note they may be for you, YMMV). The razor itself performed decently well for me. Under the nose without issue, with and across the cheeks flawless. I'd say the razor was a firm medium on the aggression rating. The only place this razor gave me fits using it effectively was around my chin. If your worried about the small lather channels, don't be as it wasn't a hindrance during my shave. The reason I am only giving this a 3 star rating is for new shavers this might be on the more aggressive side for them. I also think there are better blades than the Parker Platinum blade, which regardless of how light of a touch I have have always resulted in at least one spot of blood that needs an alum block to stop. I'm sure if I shave with one of my preferred blades the highest I could give this razor is 3.5. I'll be in my rotation but that's about it. I wanted to like this razor, but it's going to take much longer than I'm comfortable with, to get to that stage. A first shave being bang average instead of good is a touch spot to improve from.

    Awesome

I tried this new razor I really like it very heavy it knocks my beard down like a champ I’ll need to work on just barely putting any pressure on it. That will happen with time and patience no problem at all. Anyone with a super thick beard like me get this razor. I highly recommend it guys

Great weight and design on this razor. Super easy to load and gives a nice BBS. Tried it several ways, with pre made half blades and blades I snapped myself. Loved a half Feather blade in it. Overall, a medium efficient razor. A must have!!

I was really impressed that a inexpensive razor would shave this well. Competition better look out because this one's less expensive and it definitely has a place in my Shave Den.
