I also picked this up for traveling. It packs very well. I would second the advice about drying it out after traveling, but I don't think it's too sensitive. i leave it (uncapped) in my bag for the 3-4 days that I'm away, and rinse and let it dry after getting home, and I don't have any trouble. The bristles are shorter than on the brush I use every day, but the silvertip bristles are softer than the other. Works great; very happy with it.

Great travel brush that I use every day!

I bought this so that I could take it with me on trips and have it well protected in the case. I use this every day as my regular shaving brush. It's a bit small, but I love it. I've taken it on several trips. The case works great. However, make sure you get the brush really dry before you put it in the case because the case will not let the moisture out. If you leave it in the case damp for too long, I would expect mold to grow. It's not been a problem for me since it only sits in the case while I'm traveling. Once I get into my hotel room, I immediately take the brush out and let it air out and I leave it out of the case the whole time and I leave the case open so that it can air out too. On the morning that I have to check out of the hotel, after shaving, I shake the brush off really good and put it in the case. I've only traveled with it damp in the case for 12 - 14 hours at a time, and I haven't had a mold problem. The silver tip badger hair is very soft and I'm able to build great lathers with it, so I've been very happy with it.
