Top shelf mild aluminum razor!
Stubble Meets Steel from YT here. Ive used almost every aluminum DE razor made & reviewed them. The Parker aero is a top of class aluminum DE razor. Stand out features: -excellent blade clamping for no chatter or blade flex! -mild and forgiving around Adam’s apple or sensitive spots. -very effecient for how mild & low blade feel it shaves. -thick diameter handle feels good in hand. -pleasurable shave with many brands of blades. -thin head profile for under nose area or easier beard, goatee lineup work. Really helped me to read the instructions!
First off, I’m female, so I shave a lot more than my face. I’m a child of the seventies, and my very first shaves were with disposable double razors. I was completely inexperienced with a razor like this. I’m used to placing the head against my skin and pressing down moderately aggressively. Twisting has caused me some major gouges over the years, and I’ve got the scars to prove it. I’m quite sure I could still damage myself with this, but I haven’t yet. Once I followed the instructions very carefully, it works great. I’m getting a dermablading sort of experience with this, somehow everything is more perfectly smooth than with some expensive disposable five blade razor, and the razor itself looks beautiful and professional. It’s not slippery in my hand, and I’m never going back to disposables. I do need to figure out how to safely dispose of used razor blades, though!
