Parker Double Edge Blade Disposal Bank & 100 Parker DE Blades

Absolutely love Parker blades. Sharp and efficient yet smooth and forgiving! Definitely recommend trying them! Blades are always a matter of preference and depend on skin/beard type. My suggestion is to try a variety pack. Once you find your favorites, just buy in bulk!

These are good blades that come highly recommended, and those recommendations do not lie. Plus, they are made in the US. My only gripe is the packaging, and is what changed a 5 star product to four stars. The box is wrapped in plastic film, and the 20 individual containers are also wrapped in plastic film. In addition, the containers are plastic, and you are expected to push the blades out of a slot. It appears the containers are supposed to be used as a blade bank, which makes selling one separately a waste. Already annoyed with the packaging, I also found extracting the blades difficult..

The blades are really sharp. They are a lot sharper than gillette Wilkinson sword. I love the packaging and how the individual packs have a slot at the bottom to put used blades in. Will update this review after using them but so far the blades are visually very nice and appealing and the seller is also very nice and prompt. Update : these blades give the best shave I've ever had. I had no razor burn after using it. Didn't need to apply aftershave which was pleasant and surprising. Gives you smooth skin in 2 passes. Definitely worth the money you pay and in the long run it's really worth it.

I've tried Feather (There is such a thing as "too sharp"), Derby, Wilkinson, Dorco, Merkur, Astra, and several others. I've been extremely well-pleased with these blades. They're good for at least two shaves each with my beard texture, and that's all I can ask for. If you're looking to experiment with another blade, this is a great place to start.

I purchased the 100 blade pack & razor bank along with the Parker 90R butterfly safety razor (check my separate review of the razor). However, every Parker DE safety razor ships with a complimentary 5 pack of Parker platinum DE blades. And since they're the same, this is what I'm reviewing here. I'm a newbie to safety razor shaving and its fairly evident that choice of blade is critical to the quality of shave and subsequently to the shaving experience as well. This is why I opted for platinum coated blades to ensure a smooth shave and minimize the possibility of a harsh shaving experience. Since I chose a Parker safety razor it seemed natural that their proprietary blades would be a suitable choice to pair it with and they didn't disappoint me. This deal is a bargain as I was considering another premium name brand of platinum coated DE blades but okay, I am a sucker for a deal and I didn't go wrong. I havent tried the razor bank yet as today was my 1st experience using my new safety razor and Ive gathered that each blade is good for maybe 5 shaves or so. But Parker is a known name in shaving and safety razors & banks are a fairly simple & easy to use design. I can say that the black color makes it look elegant and stylish even. So I am satisfied with my choice and I am sure they will serve me well for a long time to come.
