Unlike most shavettes, our razor has a stainless steel blade arm - not lower quality aluminum. Many straight razor enthusiasts have told us the shavette razors perform just like a straight razor -- except that there is no honing or sharpening required. Workhorse!
This is an inexpensive easy to use shavette that delivers a good shave. It's not a display straight with scales of genuine horn, but it is a daily workhorse that is easy to load and use. During the work week, I really like the convenience of a shavette where I don't have to worry about stropping. No down time....Just throw a new blade in and you're back to hacking whiskers in no time. Great travel razor too.
