Taconic Shave's Bay Rum Shave Cream creates a lather that is rich, slick, luxurious and extremely long lasting. Our cream is made with many natural skin soothing ingredients to moisturize and protect your skin for improved razor glide. Our version of this classic masculine scent is hand crafted by our artisan soap makers with pure bay oil, a mix of spice and citrus essential oils, and honey for sweetness, giving it a warm, refreshing, spicy fragrance.
Our cream can be used with a brush (recommended) or brushless. Either will deliver a fabulous shave. Highly concentrated, one container will last for several months.
Directions: For Brush Application (recommended method) - Allow your brush to absorb hot water. Gently shake out excess water and add a nickel sized amount of cream to brush tips. Massage into beard with circular motion until a rich lather is produced. For Brushless Application - Using your fingertips, remove a nickel sized amount of shave cream, add warm water, massage onto shave area for 60 seconds or until a rich lather is produced (add more water as needed).

I love it
This stuff works. I was used to swabbing my brush around in the cup, with this product just put a small amount on the tips of the brush and work into a very rich lather on your face. My shave was closer, smoother and no nicks even when shaving aggressively. The smell is pleasant but does not linger long, which is fine with me, that is what a splash of aftershave is for. I would like to comment on the companies friendly and prompt service, unexpected and nice.

This shaving cream as it's definitely a smooth gliding surface. It smells great and is very classy/hipster. I definitely think it's a high quality product thanks to the thought put into this Bay Rum scented shaving cream. I would definitely suggest a brush to use the shaving cream to make it a lather. I couldn't see making it easy to apply with out one.
