Like many others, I tossed out my old Sensor Excel handle when following some other shaving fancies. For a while it was 3 blade cartridges, then Korean wholesale direct-to-home ordering, and finally a old fashioned safety razor. But what I really wanted was my old Sensor Excel back. The cartridges are still out there, but good luck finding a handle. This Taconic does a great job in providing the heft necessary for a great shave. The weight isn’t too bulky, and the grooves and grips keep this firmly in my hand while shaving. If you’re looking for a replacement handle with style that will stand up to the job, this is it.

I like the "heft" of this razor. I have had a Gillette Sensor for years and this year I forgot to pack it before we left for home. This is perfect for me. Glad it was available.

I already have the Atra version of this razor . Using it for head shaves, I was ready to move towards a 3 blade razor to remove more stubble. My only complaint is the the razor is not completely straight (possible small defect during production). Otherwise, it gives a great head shave.
