Twisting the knob on the bottom of the razor will open the butterfly doors for blade insertion. This graphite-gray and chrome plated all brass razor is a smooth shaver. Parker 76R Heavyweight Graphite Butterfly Open Safety Razor
After 50 years of shaving nothing more than my neck, I shaved off my bird, leaving only my mustache. I started with a disposable razor from my wife. This works much better. I have to be more careful, but it does it in one pass.

Excellent Razor
This is a great razor. I had bought a cheaper "starter" razor and was getting lots of nicks and cuts. I thought it was the blades, but I haven't had a single one with this razor. Smooth, the butterfly action works great, and the longer handle helps you get the right angles. Looks great too with my brush! Parker does quality products at reasonable prices.

Some things just can't be improved upon
Some things are best left the old ways, like my brand new single blade safety razor. Never had a closer or easier shave. Promptly tossed out my 5 blade POS. Highly recommended.

Just a great razor!
Just a great razor is all I can say about the Parker 76R. I bought a cheaper butterfly before this one, it went out to the trash can after using this one only 2 times. I don't care where it was made or anything else it's great quality and no doubt will last me the rest of my life.
