Taconic Unscented Organic Pre-Shave Oil

I’ve been using Taconic products for many years but I’d never bought this shave oil because I just didn’t see how it could make much of a difference. Well, color me convinced. I got some free when I made my most recent order and I’ll continue buying it. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and comparing my shaves with and without it and I can honestly say it makes a significant difference. I still don’t understand how such a tiny spritz of oil can do what it does, but I can’t deny the results. After showering, I massage one tiny squirt of oil into each side of my face and then work up my lather. Once the lather is ready, I shave as normal. I get closer shaves with less irritation and fewer nicks (none, in fact) when I use this oil. So if you’ve been wondering if you should get some of this, wonder no more. It’s worth it.

I had not purchased pre-shave oil in the past, thinking that it was probably not worth the effort, however I tried out the sample sent to me and it is now an indispensable part of the process. Applying the oil before lathering noticeably reduced the drag of the blade on my skin as well as the frequency of nicks. Well worth the couple of extra seconds spent applying it.

I cannot express how fantastic this Taconic pre-shave oil is. It has raised my daily shave to a level I didn’t believe possible. The feel, the scent, the luxuriousness is absolutely wonderful! I have researched shave products, all of them, for well over a year, testing new stuff every single day. This Taconic … stuff … is at a whole new level! It has raised the bar! Nuff said! Very little of the product is required to create a nice layer Without any irritation I have experienced from some other oils.

Never in a million years did I believe a preshaveoil could help with shaving as much as this one does!! Only ever used soap and water or shaving cream, but received a free sample with an order and this stuff is amazing!!! Doesn’t take much but works SO GOOD!!

I received this for free with my first order, but now I'm going to keep buying it. It's a simple and clean way to start a shave. It preps my skin to make is smoother for the razor to glide easier over my skin. Plus the natural ingredients give me piece of mind I'm helping my face.

Excellent product, I would not have thought that I would like this product. I have tried other pre=shave oils and they were too greasy. This is perfect the razor glides and it does not leave the face greasy. I like it!

This is a good, thin oil that really helps prep the face for the shaving soap. Ive used other brands that were too viscous and had an off (read: rancid) smell. Not Taconics! If Howie would scent it with a bit of clove, I would give it five stars!.

I would prefer a scent I would prefer it to be a little more penetrating. But gets the job done cleanly neatly and without mess
